Mark Oliver:
There are very few private national valuation and settlement service companies with the level of experience of Service 1st’s senior management team – a team that has the ability to successfully execute high transaction volumes for a broad range of end users within the mortgage and real estate industries. The Service 1st team has the experience, knowledge, capability and culture of service to successfully meet our clients’ specific needs.
Mark Oliver founded Service 1st Valuation and Settlement Services in July of 2007 to fill a void in the mortgage and real estate industries. Prior to starting Service 1st, Mark served in a variety of roles at Nationwide Appraisal Services Corporation, including President and Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He was the senior executive in charge of sales, operations, finance, customer service, and HR, and reported to the Chairman and CEO as well as the board of directors.
In April of 2004, Mark led the sale of the company to Capital Title Group where he served until July 2005 as a divisional President responsible for marketing, sales, and the acquisition/integration of REAS (Real Estate Appraisal Services) from Citizens Financial Group.
Mark began his career as a Sales and Service Specialist for Mellon Bank in December of 1992. He holds a BA in Political Science from Westminster College.
Gene L. Jazwinski, Esq:
Gene Jazwinski, Esq., is Service 1st’s Senior Vice President of Title and Closing Operations. Gene has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, including banking/finance, legal representation of buyers/sellers, builders/developers and title/settlement services.
Gene has worked for the national lending institutions Equibank and First Union National Bank, national vendor management company General American Corporation and was owner/operator of his own regional title insurance agency. Gene’s extensive knowledge and experience ensures that Services 1st Valuation and Settlement Services provide quality work and quality services to its clients.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, he completed his Juris Doctorate program at Duquesne University.
Bob Swain, Jr:
Bob Swain, Jr. is Service 1st’s Senior Vice President of Appraisal Operations. Bob began his career in 1989 and has extensive knowledge and experience in consumer and mortgage originations, underwriting conventional, FHA and non-traditional loans, FHA and REO appraisal, title and title agency experience and real estate sales.
In addition to his 18 years of industry experience, Bob was chosen by Option One, Wachovia and National Commerce Financial in coordination with ValuAmerica to build and implement captive vendor management companies using ValuAmerica’s award winning valuation and settlement services technology platform ValuNet xsp, which delivers appraisal, title, flood and closing products. There are few, if any, seasoned management executives with Bob’s experience on ValuNet.
Paul Mooney:
Paul Mooney, SVP, National Sales and Marketing, joins Service 1st with extensive experience analyzing processes within the settlement services industry, including appraisal, credit and title insurance specifically.
Through his Six Sigma training with GE Capital and involvement in several business re-invention teams, Paul has a strong understanding of vendor, supplier and customer requirements while folding them into complex business plans. He brings to Service 1st strong analytical skills, which allows him to lead teams in design improvements while ensuring clients increased efficiency and superior customer satisfaction.
Paul is also a registered appraiser in the state of Colorado.
Thomas J. Jamison:
Tom Jamison, Vice President of Accounting, comes to Service 1st with over thirty years of valuable experience in the accounting, banking and vendor management industries.
Previously, Tom was hired by Nationwide Appraisal Services Corporation in 1999 as Vice President of Accounting and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2000. He remained in that capacity until the sale of the company to Capital Title Group in 2004. Before that, he worked his way through the ranks at Standard Bank, starting as a branch manager trainee in 1972 and then moving up to branch manager, treasurer and controller and the senior vice president and chief financial office from 1986 to 1998.
Tom holds a BA in Economics from Slippery Rock University. |
