Thomas J. Jamison

SVP, Chief Accounting Officer

Tom, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, comes to Service 1st with over 30 years of valuable experience in the accounting, banking and vendor management industries. Nothing can be more important than having a long-standing relationship with your senior financial officer at more than one successful enterprise. Tom understands the industry inside and out from financial and operating perspectives and has managed all aspects of our financial development from day one. His participation in our company’s success has also been invaluable.

Previously, Tom was hired by Nationwide Appraisal Services Corporation in 1999 as Vice President of Accounting and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2000. He remained in that capacity until the sale of the company to Capital Title Group in 2004. Before that, he worked his way through the ranks at Standard Bank, starting as a branch manager trainee in 1972 and then moving up to branch manager, treasurer and controller and the senior vice president and chief financial officer from 1986 to 1998.

Tom holds a BA in Economics from Slippery Rock University.


Peter Gianfrancesco

VP, Apprasial Operations

Pete Gianfrancesco came to Service 1st with a very diverse operational background to work specifically on the management of one Appraisal Operations account. His business experience ranges from utilities operational management and union representation, to community organization and youth sports development, to Appraisal Management. Pete represents the American ideal that opportunity combined with ability, effort, and teamwork can lead to exceptional results.

With Pete’s leadership, our Appraisal Operations performance has outpaced all internal expectations for quality, service, speed, revisions, response time frame and overall customer satisfaction. Pete exemplifies our position that we are only as good as our vendor relationships, our client relationships, and how all corporate functions join in exceeding our client expectations. We believe the growth in our business is a testament to his leadership!


Lisa Malay

VP, Title Operations

Lisa Malay is our VP of Title Operations. She joined Service 1st in our second full year of operation with a very specific and extensive industry background. She took a fledgling department and tripled the operation within 2 years. Prior to joining Service 1st, Lisa spent the previous 12 years holding various senior leadership positions within the title industry covering title abstracting/searches, commitments, payoffs, issue resolution, claims, MFR’s, clearance and issue resolution, and final policy delivery.

Like our other senior managers, Lisa is one of those rare leaders who not only manages operations, but also works directly with our clients to insure we exceed all Service expectations. We are very fortunate to have someone of our her experience, product knowledge, dedication, and ability to manage all of our title operations. The growth we have experienced since Lisa took over our operation in an ultra-competitive space is a direct result of her management. All of Lisa’s free time is spent with family, her local neighborhood athletic association, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.


Michelle Jones

VP, Client Relations

Michelle is Director of client relations at Service 1st. In a centralized environment, the client relations department serves as home base for all clients. Her department serves a critical role, as we believe our service is what sets us apart. As head of this department, and having experience in vendor management and with the lending side of the industry, Michelle is well-versed and experienced in all facets of our business to the point where she and her staff solve problems for clients on the spot.

Michelle graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a dual degree in International Business and Economics. She began her career in the appraisal and title vendor management industry by working at LandAmerica OneStop as an associate in several key operating departments including appraisal production, title production, and closing services title/closing. Prior to joining Service 1st, Michelle spent time in quality control at NVR Mortgage.

Michelle has a passion and a special talent for interacting with clients. She sees problems as opportunities and we believe our client base and growth are a direct reflection of the efforts of her and her staff.

She has been a "big sister" through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for the past 2 years and loves to travel and visit new places.


Dante Petrella

VP, National Sales

Dante Petrella has been in the appraisal, title settlement and servicing industry for over 21 years. He began his career with the original national appraisal and title management company, Lenders’ Service now an LPS company. From there, Dante moved to Express Financial Services where he was one the original 5 members to start their National Service Center assisting in national pricing development, sales and marketing, vendor recruiting, client relations and collections.

At Service 1st Valuation and Settlement Services, Dante has brought new and long-standing client relationships to new production levels. His focus will be to present both Appraisal and Title Services to Banks, Mortgage Companies, Quality Control and Risk Management Companies, Mortgage Insurers, Default Service Providers, Asset Management Companies, and National Real Estate and Foreclosure Law Firms. Dante has many industry relationships and is consistently networking to development new clients along with the growing of current clients relationships. “Service1st Valuation and Settlement Services is a true ‘service company’. Our ability to customize our work flow to meet the requirements and expectations of our client base makes my job a pleasure” states Dante.

During summer Dante enjoys coaching baseball with his 3 sons, one of which is a player and the other two are ball and bat boys. The teams he has been able to work with have won local little league world series championships in 2005 and 2009. In 2010, his team were part of the Pony league world series championships.

Dante hold a BA in Speech Communications from Edinboro University of PA 1989.


Gary Manns

IT Director

Gary came to Service 1st Valuation and Settlement Services in January 2011. He brings over 10 years of industry experience. He received his BS in Information Technology from Western Governors University. Gary is Comptia A+, Network+, Security+, and Project+ Certified. He also is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
