Elaine Kozy
SVP Appraisal Operations
Elaine is Service 1st Senior Vice President of Appraisal Operations. She has over 20 years of real estate experience including appraisal management, loan processing/underwriting, title production, closing management and personnel development in each of these areas. Elaine played an instrumental role in guiding the entire operating staff through initial systems and process training from our inception forward.
Through the years, her focus has always been and continues to be on service and quality, and we believe the client relationships she has developed speak for themselves.
Elaine attended a business college in Ohio and started with a small title company upon graduation and after moving back to the Pittsburgh area continued her growth within the industry.
For many years, Elaine has been involved with a variety of disability agencies and advocate groups. She is extremely family oriented and a very loyal Pittsburgh Penguin fan
Thomas J. Jamison
SVP Chief Accounting Officer
Tom, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, comes to Service 1st with over 30 years of valuable experience in the accounting, banking and vendor management industries. Nothing can be more important than having a long-standing relationship with your senior financial officer at more than one successful enterprise. Tom understands the industry inside and out from financial and operating perspectives and has managed all aspects of our financial development from day one. His participation in our company’s success has also been invaluable.
Previously, Tom was hired by Nationwide Appraisal Services Corporation in 1999 as Vice President of Accounting and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2000. He remained in that capacity until the sale of the company to Capital Title Group in 2004. Before that, he worked his way through the ranks at Standard Bank, starting as a branch manager trainee in 1972 and then moving up to branch manager, treasurer and controller and the senior vice president and chief financial officer from 1986 to 1998.
Tom holds a BA in Economics from Slippery Rock University.
Lisa Malay
VP, Title Operations
Lisa has the position of VP, Title Operations and has an extensive background within the vendor management industry. She has spent her entire career helping build and grow title functions with companies such as Express Financial Services, Financial Dimensions, and Service 1st. At Service 1st, Lisa took a fledgling department with 1 or 2 clients and has built it into a high growth aspect of our operation.
Lisa spends all of her time outside of work with family and has spent a significant amount of effort with charities dedicated to Cystic Fibrosis.
Michelle Jones
Director, Client Relations
Michelle is Director of client relations at Service 1st. In a centralized environment, the client relations department serves as home base for all clients. Her department serves a critical role, as we believe our service is what sets us apart. As head of this department, and having experience in vendor management and with the lending side of the industry, Michelle is well-versed and experienced in all facets of our business to the point where she and her staff solve problems for clients on the spot.
Michelle graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a dual degree in International Business and Economics. She began her career in the appraisal and title vendor management industry by working at LandAmerica OneStop as an associate in several key operating departments including appraisal production, title production, and closing services title/closing. Prior to joining Service 1st, Michelle spent time in quality control at NVR Mortgage.
Michelle has a passion and a special talent for interacting with clients. She sees problems as opportunities and we believe our client base and growth are a direct reflection of the efforts of her and her staff.
She has been a "big sister" through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for the past 2 years and loves to travel and visit new places.
